Description

The Innov2Learn Rectal Probe is designed for use with Thermo and Thermo+ simulated hospital thermometers, helping educators deliver more realistic temperature assessment training. It supports the practice of rectal temperature-taking techniques within clinical simulation scenarios involving manikins or simulated patients.

When the probe is plugged into a compatible Thermo or Thermo+ device, the thermometer automatically changes to rectal mode, helping learners recognise the correct workflow and reducing the risk of confusion between oral and rectal temperature assessment during training.

This accessory is especially useful in programmes where educators want to teach temperature measurement technique with greater realism, including scenarios involving fever assessment, hypothermia awareness and broader patient observation skills. The probe is also compatible with Welch Allyn® probe covers, supporting familiar training routines and hygienic simulation practice.
