Gluco III is a professional-grade simulated blood glucose meter designed to enhance realism in healthcare simulation and clinical skills training. Modelled after the Accu-Chek Inform II, it gives learners the experience of using a hospital-style glucometer while enabling educators to control the displayed results remotely through the Innov2Learn app.

Suitable for use with standardised patients and low-, medium- or high-fidelity manikins, Gluco III supports realistic blood glucose assessment within a wide range of simulation scenarios. Instructors can send readings that represent both hypoglycaemia and hyperglycaemia, helping learners practise clinical decision-making in response to changing patient conditions.

The simulator supports both mmol/L and mg/dL units, making it suitable for training programmes across the UK, Europe, the United States and other international settings. It accepts most test strips, including Accu-Chek compatible strips, and because the readings are simulated, strips may be expired or faulty without affecting scenario delivery.

With over 4 hours of continuous operation, USB-C recharging and wireless Bluetooth control over distances of up to 15 metres, Gluco III provides a reliable and repeatable way to incorporate blood glucose monitoring into nursing education, medical simulation and patient assessment training.
