Gluco III+ is a professional-grade simulated blood glucose meter designed to bring greater realism and flexibility to healthcare simulation. Modelled after the Accu-Chek Inform II, it allows learners to interact with a hospital-style glucometer while instructors remotely control the displayed values through the Innov2Learn app.
Suitable for use with standardised patients and manikins, Gluco III+ supports real-time simulation of blood glucose readings from hypoglycaemia through to hyperglycaemia, helping educators create more responsive and clinically relevant scenarios.
The device supports both mmol/L and mg/dL units, making it suitable for training programmes across the UK, Europe, the United States and other international settings. It accepts most test strips, including Accu-Chek compatible strips, and because readings are simulated, expired or faulty strips can still be used within training exercises.
With over 8 hours of continuous operation, USB-C recharging and wireless Bluetooth control over distances of up to 15 metres, Gluco III+ is particularly well suited to extended teaching sessions, simulation centre workflows and repeated scenario delivery.
