Description
Forehead-T is a simulated forehead thermometer designed to enhance temperature assessment training in healthcare simulation. Inspired by familiar hospital-style forehead thermometers, it gives learners a more realistic patient observation experience while allowing educators to control the displayed readings remotely.
Using the Innov2Learn app, instructors can preset temperature values, trigger readings when the learner presses the measurement button, force a value to appear on screen, or clear the display to return the thermometer to its idle state. A beep sounds whenever a new measurement is shown, helping to preserve the realism and flow of the scenario.
Forehead-T supports both °C and °F display modes and features a bright screen suitable for simulation spaces with lower ambient lighting. Its wireless Bluetooth control enables use from up to 15 metres away, including through glass or thick walls, making it suitable for simulation centres with dedicated control rooms or observation areas.
Powered by a rechargeable internal lithium battery, Forehead-T delivers up to 8 hours of continuous operation, making it well suited to extended teaching sessions, OSCE preparation and high-volume clinical skills training.
